Why you should make a Blog

Blogging is a great way to to to get exposure and although this sounds like common sense to most folks out there I find it's often pushed to the side for easier, less productive methods. Nowadays everyone living in their parents house thinks they can market for a Fortune 500 company. So putting in the most productive efforts possible in a variety of way is critical in today's marketing.

Marketing is like any other (possibly) rewarding career path. It takes hours of research of studying and content creating to truly make a difference in your campaigns. Blogs can give you links through text, image and video. The more you share those images and videos the higher your blog ranks (multimedia is long)

Originality is key. Don't post watered down YouTube videos. If you think your new traffic is going to enjoy waiting an average of 15 seconds to see your message think again. Creative content is king.

Traveling is good for Business

Traveling is one of life's greatest gifts. The ability to see new things, new cultures, animals, etc. One thing I've noticed ever since I've gotten into Business is that a lot of successful people travel. This helps them understand people, probably helping their relationship with a variety of customers. I truly believe that this is a factor in their success.

We spend all this time sitting at some device tracking views, analyzing data, etc. we almost lose the human touch. When you travel, maybe you don't meet millions of people but you can meet a unique variety that show you things you've never known. Great cooks learn rare cooking skills this way. Journalists educate us because of this.

No matter what line of Business your in, your Network is crucial to success. In my opinion, I think meeting and making a connection then using the Internet to stay in touch is the way to do it. Instead of letting Technology control our every move lets start to use it to our advantage.

I think Small Business owners really need to start working together more. Considering we're the smallest yet most taxed form of Business, it's not easy keeping a start up going these days. Think about it, you can form a small investing team and make more money working together along with your own Business.

I realize trust is a big issue these days, but anyone who's made their money the right way through Business has something to back it up so do your Home Work. If you are in the process of looking for a Team good luck, it's not easy but the right group of people make a Company what it is.

Working with the right Business

Often times our path to Success is based on the people we work with. The thing we need to do is be able to surround ourselves with the right people to get the job done. Now while this is critical within our Business, it also matters who we choose to Market for.

As a Marketer you don't want to advertise a product that is crap. You don't want to associate with a questionable Business either for obvious reasons. Last but not least you don't want to attempt to Market a product you have no knowledge of.

We can all learn about a Business and a Product but knowing about it and having a liking for it is different. Ever notice how easy it is to Market something for something you're very familiar with? While you can't always have this luxury as a Marketer it's great when you have it and over time you can eventually go after those Clients by targeting and locating them.

Remember, a Business is a huge responsibility. If you're going to do it you better do something you love.

Why Interactive Ads are Awesome

Hey, did you hear? Marketing is kind of changing this year..A lot. And in some pretty cool ways I might add.

Seriously though, as the Marketing trends continue to come out it's important to see what's good and what's "attempting" to be good.  So What''s good? Interactive Ads. Interactive Ads give the user the Yin and Yang if you will. They deliver the cool, eye catching images and they encourage engagement from the user by doing different things. This is so important for your success in marketing. But why exactly? Well, I'll tell you why and it's not just for Google Clicks.

When a customer actually engages in your content, they go from just seeing your ad to learning about it. We can almost rank the clicks...

1 Click - Hmmm..Interesting

2nd Click - Tell me More

3rd Click - OK, I'm interested.

As the saying goes..It happens once, its a coincidence. It happens twice, it's a sign. It happens three times, and it becomes a trend.  Whenever I Market anything and I'm going over the Data, I always look for 3. 3 Clicks, 3 Visits. Something happening 3 times is a good sign in my opinion.

Whenever you design a web page, Ad, anything related to Marketing, don't aim for page views..Aim for engagement. Think about it like dating someone. When you see them, your interested. After the first date or two, you want more and more. Apply this to your Marketing and I promise you will see better results.

Visual Marketing

Psychology is a huge part of Marketing. Think about it...Today Content Marketing is all the rave. Sending an email or post of just boring text will get you nowhere. Why is this? It's the way our minds work. For instance, over time human beings adapt to all things..Advertising/Marketing included. Gone are the days of going up to someone with a cliche', boring sales pitch.

Nowadays Business has become personal. People want a reason to like your Brand and you need to connect with them in some way that all the competition around you is not. Visual Marketing through picture or video is the way to go. Even as a Blog writer I truly see the beauty in Visual Marketing because it helps tell me visualize my message to my audience.

If you haven't noticed..Pinterest and Instagram are becoming the top Social Media platforms. This is because of..You guessed it, Visual Marketing. Also, if you haven't heard of Flip Board by now you will shortly. As I've said in my other blogs, you need to know which trends to pick up and which ones to ignore in Business. This is one all Marketers should embrace.

Who says these Marketing Methods don't work?

Look, I get it. Progress in Business is like Evolution. You need to adapt to new trends on the Market, pricing, etc. Going against whats "In" is a recipe for disaster, however losing your creative, original touch is equally as disastrous. With all the new forms of Marketing that continue to come out..Ask yourself, are you just trying to follow all of these methods? Or have you truly found a form in which you are skilled at?

I keep reading how all the old tactics of Marketing are dead (OK, I'll give you Cold Calls) But direct mail, print, etc. being labeled as ineffective or outdated shows a lack of vision, creativity is more like it. You see, the difference today is that people are used to putting something on  Computer and reaching thousands of people..A day. Now I'd be lying to you if I said you'll probably get the same results using the methods I've listed. However if you can make a more localized, but highly effective Marketing Campaign I bet you'll find yourself with a higher rate of customer spending.

The beauty of Direct Mail, print and good ol' Email Marketing is the way it displays your message. For instance...You can pay $10 to promote your post on Facebook and be in a line of competitors. OR, you can send direct mail to people so when they open their mail or email, they see your message loud and clear.
Look folks..Last time I checked, we're still getting Paper Mail. I've always personally noticed the flashier looking Ads that came in my mail, and I always used the ones that I needed at or found useful at the time.

It's the same thing with email marketing, except it's even more effective. Most, if not all of us, get a text whenever we receive an email. You open it up usually right there, or if not then eventually. Either or at some point your message has the chance to be front and center. No one else around...Just you and the Consumer looking at your Ad. If you make it flashy enough and you offer the Customer something of value, chances are this will help your Business.

I like Print in the right area as well. Print almost reminds me of SEO...If you just throw money towards a campaign and not put work or thought into it you'll get no results. When putting up print Ads I suggest considering the following..Where would my audience be for this kind of ad, and what does my ad do that makes you want what I have to offer?

So if your looking to possibly expand closer with your local community outside of the world wide web, give these Marketing methods a try.

Gardening Green Effect

There are ways that we as people can truly make a difference in this movement. No, I;m not just talking about recycling. There are more ways by working together. For instance, what if in the Suburbs instead of tearing down every single lot, the neighborhood could possibly purchase a vacant lot by investing with one another.
Example of a well designed Garden. This method saves more space

They then could turn this lot into a food supply for their community. Imagine if suburban communities could actually work together and help bring food to one another? This not only battles food shortage, but create a possible Green Market for the community. Not everyone would be able to grow crops.

Edible food crops are not the only Economic opportunity to be had here. What about selling Tropical plants? If you haven't noticed, Tropical Garden plants can be quite expensive. For a good price you could possibly supply Gardeners who want these plants for their right price.

Ok so getting a community to work together is going to be a tough one. But it can be done. In the meantime, why not grow crops in your own backyard? (pots are also a good option for your plants if space is tight)
This will reduce food costs, giving you nice healthy fully organic crops. I really do suggest doing this if you want your green items to be as fresh as possible.

If you want to get started but you need some help, check out Youtube videos like the one I have posted. You will be surprised at how much YouTube can teach you. Good luck everyone...Hopefully someone found this helpful. If you have any questions about certain cash crops, etc. feel free to ask or share anything you know.

Is SEO really dead?

You hear it all the time about SEO. People think it’s a waste, out of date method. I disagree. When done right it’s more effective and quicker then even Social Media. You can literally wake up to hundreds of page views in the morning sometimes.
I personally think SEO is much better then advertised these days.If you’re not sure how to set it up with the right keywords, check around online. There are plenty of software programs or free programs you can use to get a good Marketing edge.
I also suggest using Google and Bing, they both receive decent Traffic. Lately Yahoo has even added more visual ads. I wouldn't say use them yet but if their user growth grows at all I might say otherwise. One last thing...Mobile Marketing is a must. Mobile search results are becoming the #1 source for Traffic.
